Plus, to ensure a truly razor sharp edge, each blade is hand honed and receives a high speed buff to eliminate even the smallest burs. The Shinobus offer tanto styling in a lockback package. If you need a pocket knife that you can dig, pry and chisel with, the Shinobu is for you. All these lockbacks feature a comfortable, slim, Thermorun handle and are very sharp.

Since every folding knife is only as strong as the lock that holds it open, Cold Steel took great care when they designed the lock mechanism in the Shinobus and Clip Mates. The lock itself, back spring and crucial pivot pin are all massively over-sized and hand fitted to perform as one unit of unparalleled strength.

Both knives have been carried, but are in excellent shape. Blades still have the factory edge, and are sharp.
