CHANEL CC Black Leather Grand Shopping Large Tote Shoulder Bag Modern Chain NWT. FYI - Don't really know the correct name of this bag on my box it says "Grand Shopping" but looking online I see some listed as "Modern Chain". NWT Authentic Chanel Bag w/ original price tag attached. Leather: smooth lamb skin leather with stitched CCs in front. Black resin & leather interwoven chain handles. Light silver satin lining w/ attached silver leather key ring.
Silver tone bottom feet & CC zipper pull closure - still shiny. 3 interior pockets: two patch pockets & one zip pocket.
Includes authenticity card, tag, Chanel booklet & original dust bag. Stored in dark closet away from light exposure.
This is NEW in UNUSED condition. May have lint from being stuffed with tissue paper. IT IS AUTHENTIC BUT because they said I didn't describe it correctly. SEE LAST PHOTO - they said "interior has more scuffs than listed or shown in photo". Which I did find a mark on the inside of the inside pocket once I took more time to inspect. Also says "exterior has more scratches than listed or shown in photo". (Don't know why the reply changed to German half way thru, I had to google translate to understand it.I'm not from Germany). Half of what they're talking about was I think fingers prints on the resin chain which just buffed off but I don't know coz they didn't give me a detailed list.
I've moved 3 times since purchasing this bag in 2008. It has been thrown in moving boxes (in its cloth cover) and has moved around in moving trucks. It has sat in my closets and has been moved around from shelf to shelf. I've taken it out & displayed it so I'd use it but then just never did. So I guess you could call it a DISPLAY MODEL. The bag is unused NEVER CARRIED but has been in my possession for a number of years. EXTERIOR - there is some light rubbing on corners, also can see that the resin chain is not TOTALLY PRISTINE it has very slight scratches & rubbing in between where the chains meet, and there is one white mark on the bottom of one which I swear wasn't there before (see updated photos). Bottom silver feet still shiny. INTERIOR - there is a mark??I guess there could be considered roughness of material (can't notice with naked eye had to zoom photo) from when I lint rolled the interior note to self - DONT try to clean bag! And I do see where they are talking about a discoloration on the inside of the inside pocket.. BUT SERIOUSLY who's inspecting these!
They should work for Chanel quality control. I wouldn't get something cleaner from the CHANEL BOUTIQUE itself these days, believe me I know!
